What would she say?

Patrick: I’m revising the style of delivery of new material on this site to be in the form of dialogues.
One-seventh: Like this? I like it. More dynamic.
Patrick: Yeah, it’s about style, man. Keeping it fresh.
One-seventh: So what then, an all male cast or are you actually going to try to write women characters?
Patrick: Good point. Women. Hmm, I’ll start off closer to home with the fellas, maybe just a few voices and then branch out when feeling adventurous. But you’re right: I can’t write female – it would be totally unconvincing. It would come off wooden, like guy-talk but merely prefixed with a female name.
One-seventh: How does any guy write woman?
Patrick: No idea, man. I doubt it’s a matter of getting into their heads, which let’s face it…
One-seventh: Yeah. No.
Patrick: Yeah. As much as it is a matter of getting out of your own. Then slice off some of the straight-forwardness…
One-seventh: And a lot of the funny.
Patrick: Ha, you’re an ass. And layer in a little…
One-seventh: Sugar and spice?
Patrick: Celebrity gossip. And unnecessary drama creation. What do you think?
One-seventh: Not going to happen.
Patrick: I know.
